The unfortunate floods which happened in Lake District in 2015 led to water coming down Malham Cove. This was something extremely rare as it is believed that the last time this happened was over 300 years ago. This is the only image of its kind (taken at dusk with a starry sky) in the world. It had a special feature on BBC and raised over £5000 for charity! We set of at approx 3AM and reached just before sunrise, , which was at 6ish, the eclipse stared at 7ish and lasted a short while. I love going to this location, this my new dark sky spot. The dunes ever changing give the scene a different look every time. I wish i didn't leave my tent in the UK!! This is a composite of 9 images and put together in PS.
