Clear information about cancelling an online print order, returning an item and getting help if something is wrong.
Your legal rights come first. This policy applies to consumer purchases from Photography By Imran. It does not take away rights relating to faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods.
Changing your mind
For eligible goods bought online, tell us you want to cancel within 14 days after delivery. You then have a further 14 days after telling us to send them back. You do not need to give a reason.
For one order delivered in separate parts, the cancellation period starts when you receive the last item. You can also ask to cancel before dispatch.
How to arrange a return
- Email info@photographybyimran.com with your order number or other proof of purchase and the items you wish to return. A clear cancellation message is sufficient; no special form is required.
- Contact us for the return address and instructions. Notifying us within the cancellation period protects your cancellation deadline; you do not need to wait for our approval to give notice.
- Pack the item securely and retain evidence of posting. Original protective packaging is helpful, but is not a condition of your statutory rights.
You pay the direct cost of returning an item when you change your mind, provided this was made clear before purchase. For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, we cover reasonable return costs; contact us to arrange the return.
Personalised & bespoke prints
The change-of-mind cancellation right does not normally apply to goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you. A standard print is not automatically exempt merely because it is printed after you order. Your rights where an item is faulty or not as described still apply.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If there is a problem with your order, please email us with the order details and a description of the issue. Photographs of damage can help us investigate, but do not replace your legal rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The change-of-mind deadline above does not limit these rights. Sale items have the same statutory protection as full-price items.
How refunds are paid
For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, we refund the returned goods and the applicable standard outbound delivery charge. Any extra amount paid for an enhanced delivery service is not refundable under this cancellation right.
We refund without undue delay, and within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first. If we offered to collect the goods, or none were supplied, the refund is due within 14 days of your cancellation notice.
Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund-processing fee. We may deduct a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item as you would in a shop.
Exchanges & gifts
For a faulty or damaged item, contact us about the remedy appropriate to your order. If you received a gift, include the order details if available. A statutory refund is normally returned to the original purchaser’s payment method rather than paid to a different person.
Waiting for a refund?
After a refund has been processed, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show it. Check with them first, then email us if you still need help.
